I really feel like I'm stuck here. Part of it is working out (mostly) alone and the fear of failure. I know continuing at 180 or 185lbs isn't making me stronger. Need to man up and bust through that 200lb ceiling!

My shoulder pain is worst getting the bar TO my shoulder. By doing presses in the rack and starting with relatively high j-hooks, I actually did my first set of OHPs with the real bar! Yeah, it hurt, but I did it!

Barbell Curls: 30 x 10, 40 x 10, 40 x 10

BOOM! Finally hit that 200lb threshold!! Heavy but not all that difficult.

Back to a narrower grip. Some pain.

Tried dumbbell bench and even with light weight my shoulder hurt. Even hurt doing curls. Discouraged.
Did some cable face pulls and called it a day.
The nightcap of Elijah Craig small batch and a Graycliff Double Espresso cigar helped me feel a little better.
My Y is closed next week for renovations, maybe I’ll just get in a few bike rides

Ten days off due to YMCA renovations. New machines (BOO!) and the only improvement to the barbell area is a new dead lift platform. Oh well...
