    Monday 20.8 workout

    Squat:
    20kg(45lbs)x5
    40kg(90lbs)x5
    52,5kg(115lbs)x5
    52,5kg(115lbs)x5
    52,5kg(115lbs)x5

    Press:
    20kg(45lbs)x5
    30kg(65lbs)x5
    40kg(90lbs)x5
    40kg(90lbs)x5
    40kg(90lbs)x5

    Deadlift:
    40kg(90lbs)x5
    60kg(130lbs)x3
    77,5kg(170lbs)x5

Last four day avarege weight: 94kg (207lbs)

Overall all lifts were easy to complete. I did rest 3 mins between press sets just in case, all others I rested for 90 secs.
I decided to do deadlifts instead of cleans on the second workout since they are still quite easy and my relatively recent PR used to be 115kg (255lbs).

    Bench press:

    82,5kg(180lbs)x5

I lift at my workplace gym and as a metalworker we have made our plates there with a laser cutter. Plates are dead accurate in weight sure, but the problem is that the 10kg (22lbs) plates I have been pulling my deadlifts with are about 30cm in diameter. I found out that standard size "bigger" plates have 45cm diameter. So looks like I have been pulling from much lower than most and with a larger range of motion, lol. Luckily I cut a 20kg (45lbs) plate a while ago and it was bigger (40cm diameter). Thinking about cutting/welding a 45cm diameter plate that is 20kg in weight so I can slap those in first.

    Saturday 25.8 workout:

    Squat:
    20kg(45lbs)x5
    40kg(90lbs)x5
    57,5kg(120lbs)x5
    57,5kg(120lbs)x5
    57,5kg(120lbs)x5

    Press:
    20kg(45lbs)x5
    30kg(65lbs)x5
    42,5kg(95lbs)x5
    42,5kg(95lbs)x5
    42,5kg(95lbs)x5

    Deadlift:
    60kg(130lbs)x5
    80kg(175lbs)x5
    87,5kg(190lbs)x5

Deadlifts are getting quite heavy. Switching to phase 2 and alternating power clean and deadlifts.

Your plan for the 45lb plates looks like a sound one. I think the set up would be altered from the standard when the plates are smaller. To a non metal worker your project seems very fascinating.

Okay admittedly I forgot to update my forum log. Will make a detailed update soon. I haven't given up and training is going well!
