    Bummer you're starting to peter out after a month. But you started further down the curve than some; seems like you already realized some of your strength potential before you took up the SS program.

    The sentiment is much appreciated but I'm actually happy with progress rather than bummed. You're right though that some strength potential was realized before lifting. I was healthy and in shape before lifting. SS talks about how riding a bike will increase bench for a novice. I probably already maxed out my "riding a bike" gains before lifting.

    Yeah; I did some of that, too. I was glad I did the LP so that I'd know for sure. I had more in the tank than I thought, still, so that was a pleasant surprise.

    I've gotten worse at chin ups. This is acceptable as long as barbell lifts are improving. I'm going to treat chin ups and dips as accessories from this point forward. I won't log them but I'll do them soreness permitting. I'm additionally adding curls and face pulls as accessories.
