Took some time off due to the pain in my right side and the flu. I went back with hopes to be better but that pain came back while squatting. I'm thinking I pulled my right oblique somehow so I'm taking sometime off to let it heal hopefully and get back under the bar.

Im back at it. I waited till the pain was gone and I've been itching to get back at it. I was considering jumping to a bodybuilder plan and lifting and losing some weight but after hitting my squats today I just thought to myself, "Lets finish what I started" I hit my lifts and while they are a decrease in weight they are still good for me and I wasn't sore afterwards. I used no belt for the squats and still nailed them at 180lbs so I'm pretty amped up to get back into it.

Noticed when I brace hard and properly my right sided pain goes away and the squat feels more stable. I think this has been an issue and the weight went up but due to poor bracing was just crushing me.

Failed my last set of Deadlifts. I tried to pull but it seemed impossible. I was able to get one rep but was so beat I gave up. After watching my video of the lift and talking to others I think I was in my head and should have at the very least grind-ed longer than I did. I will be adding Power cleans in now as well.

I still think that you would benefit from at least a few sessions with a SS coach if you can pull it off. You have a very demanding schedule but please try to get with a SS coach. Your numbers seem rather low for you age, weight, and height. Still, I'm not a coach and could be off in my estimation.

Carson I have been able to come up with a solution for a coach. I was listening to barbell logic and heard them talking about getting a coach and I started to roll my eyes saying to myself, yeah easier said than done, But then they started talking about solutions for people like me. One of them was when you go on vacation. I was going to meet someone in Florida while on vacation but I wont be able to meet with someone so I am originally from Connecticut and visit family so I started looking and found a guy that was reasonably priced and easy to get in touch with that would only be about an hour away. I will be trying to meet with him soon on some days off.

Is he/she an SS coach? If not be careful that he and you follow the standards set by SS.
