Hey everyone. I figured a little backstory before I start my log. I'm a 33 year old male, currently weighing 185lbs, 5'10". I did the LP from July 2018 to November 2018 but felt I had stalled. I moved on to barbell medicines the bridge and had horrible results. Some people said I never finished my LP so after some more research it turns out I was doing some LP some not. I am back and ready to handle business. I am in the progress of reading the Starting Strength practical programing 3rd edition and plan to go onto one of those programs once my LP ends.

Some stats to show where I started and where I've been:
    July 2018

    Squat-105
    Press-70
    Dead lift-115
    Bench-105

    Nov 2018

    Squat-185
    Press-90
    Dead lift-210
    Bench-135

What is your height? I would say that you may have reached the end of your novice progression with the numbers you indicate but you are pretty young for such somewhat low numbers. You may find getting together with a SS coach quite beneficial. Give it a try.

Carson thank you for pointing that out. I will be adding that to my original stats. I am 5'10". I have heard from many different people that my LP might be over with and to move on but since starting back on the LP I have reached numbers that I didn't hit before. Near the end of my last try at the LP I struggled to get over 190-195 without resets. The last session I had I hit 205 for five for three sets. I think some of my problem is I wasn't eating enough and resting between sets which I have been trying to do since the start of this new LP.

Can you discern why you get so little sleep? Do you work two jobs? That lack of sleep may hurt you in the long run. When I was in college and had to work full time I usually only got 4-5 hours of sleep which about killed me. I hope you can find a way to sleep a bit more.

I work 2nd shift and work anywhere from an 8 hr shift on a good day to 16 hour days. I travel via a ferry so when I get out at 1130pm the ferry gets to my side at approximately 1225 and I’m home by 1245-100 am. I have two small kids so I’m up by 8 am. I should also note that I’m using a Fitbit to track sleep and it’s not always accurate as I get up at 530 to hand off my child to a family member so I can go back to sleep. Some times it reads me as being awake even though I go back to sleep, but I am using the app as is to be consistent.

I tip my hat to you. You carry a tremendous work load and you love your children. It's a good thing that you are relatively young. I used to work with a schedule something like yours. I couldn't do it now.
