As one who has delt with serious sleep issues in the past, it is almost painful to read your log. I feel your pain. Here's hoping that you can get a handle on this. Running on zero sleep is pure hell.

Thanks David. Appreciate it. That even slow progress has been possible lately is surprising. A few months ago I got to attend the seminar. I was given similar feedback to Andy's; that progress would be difficult and inconsistent. Having read Practical Programming that should have been obvious to me - but I'm obstinate, not that bright and not strong enough to make progress impossible.

Not a single thing. Lately a four day split has turned into training every day. Not "One lift per day" programming, but "too tired, lazy and time constrained for more than one lift" programming.

Best night's sleep in a month. Got the room down to 15C (60F) ahead of time. Legit? Or placebo for the win?

I always sleep better in a cold room.

2nd decent night sleep in a row. Remarkable

Switching out every other intensity day for a light DE 10x3 for time (60-110 seconds) has been effective. Nothing last forever, but this is another hack that seems to keep things moving with limited recovery - I value simplicity and I want to start heading back as soon as recovery allows. A light 10x3 is not an original idea. Again, this was stolen from Mr. Baker.

A bit of a reset here. Growing shoulder pain for the past month. Moving to a simpler, traditional volume day and rotating rep range intensity day.
