Struggling to eat due to illness, but I’ve managed to get up to 197lbs body weight before I got sick. Holding steady for now.
Chins: I know YNDTP, but you can kiss my ass. I like chins and so far the same logic that works on all the other lifts is working on the chins. Let’s see how far I can go while adding 2.5 to 5 pounds per workout to my belt.

8/14/19: Sleep deprivation, neglected diet, and work conditions finally took their toll. I’m on mandatory overtime plus the boy’s football season is in full swing. Getting 5 to 6 hours of sleep a night. Today I had to clean out the wheel and flap wells and apply CIC, which means I was sucking oxygen throw a respirator all day and getting drench in chemicals that make my skin burn. I was lucky that I didn’t get hurt attempting my presses. After my squats I done, stick a fork in me.

Chins: 2x5x248 (something is wrong with my left arm when pulling, extreme pain prevented my third set)
Observations
Press: Its getting harder and harder to make 5lb jumps. I think microloading is just around the corner.
Chins: My experiment it coming to an end, much like the press, it’s getting harder and harder plus some injury like pain.
Cleans: I’m struggling to get my legs to NOT STAGGER. When I was a kid I fell over and busted up my face pretty bad doing cleans. Ever since I have lunged at the bottom to give myself better stability. Hard habit to break.
Squat: Easy

Still on overtime. The wife has committed to helping streamline activities to get more sleep in. How awesome is that!

I'm not sure why you would think we doubt you about chins or even that they are off base. I find your chins to be very impressive. Keep up the good work.
