Not quite a 5RM PR on bench press but closing in on it. Based on the workout today I think I have at least one 5 rep set at 260 in me. The first time through LP I developed some pain in my shoulders around this weight. There is no pain right now so I’m going to keep going with a 5 lb jump.
I’m going to keep the workouts split over a couple days (squat/press separated from pulling). Hopefully my recovery won’t suffer too much. It’s just way easier, mentally to do more frequent, shorter sessions.
My weight is about 225. Taking in about 75 grams of protein shakes per day. Excess calories are not a problem right now.
