Got my four plate deadlift back. I'm ready to shift to a weekly pulling schedule. I'm going to try the basic HLM scheme from PPST3 of power clean/power snatch/deadlift.
    Strong work, Nikola!

Thanks, Bill! This NLP run is evolving faster than I thought.

    Monday 5/3
    Squat...........350x5x3
    Bench...........240x5x3
    Power Clean..180x3x5

    Wednesday 5/5
    Squat...........280x5x2 (light day)
    Press............154x5x3
    Power Snatch.95x2x6

    Friday 5/7
    Squat...........355x5x3
    Bench...........245x5x3
    Deadlift.........410x5

No more chins for the time being. I want to focus on getting the power clean and power snatch right. Do they provide enough stress at these weights to drive my deadlift in this HLM pulling setup? Probably not, but the olympic lifts are important to me, and I'm glad to have a framework to practice them.

Left quad has been sore for a week or so and is starting to feel tweaky on the outside. I am widening my stance and shoving my knees out really hard, and it feels ok during the work sets. Still pretty sore afterwards. I may switch to intermediate squat programming a little prematurely to give it a little more recovery since I have a meet coming up in July.
