Recovery update:
BW still tracking in the right direction. After yesterday's high volume deadlifting my back feels absolutely fine whereas the Bench has left me the most sore I've been since the first day I did chin-ups...weird

The day the Press died. As mentioned on Tuesday I came in today ready to switch to 5x3 on Press, but after a good warm-up, 60k just stopped dead after 1 rep. So I decided to call it there, switch to 5x5 and work on my Press 2.0 technique, hoping to get the numbers increasing again. On a positive note, today marks my best squat workout ever. Back in August 2017, when I was fencing full-time, I attempted this workout (3x5@130) and missed the final rep. Today I finished every set with maybe one more in the tank! Programme works...on to 300lb.

- Light Squat: 3x5@bar, 2x5@42.5, 1x3@65, 1x2@85, 1x2@95, 3x5@107.5kg (236lb)
- Bench Press: 2x5@bar, 1x5@30, 1x3@47.5, 1x2@62.5, 1x2@67.5, 1x4@77.5kg, 2x5@70kg (170lb, 154lb)
- Deadlift: 2x5@bar, 2x5@70, 1x3@90, 1x3@110, 1x2@125, 2x3@142.5kg (313lb)
Bench today was just not there. Some grinding at 75 turned into a brick wall at 77.5. With this, the third of the four primary lifts to hit the wall I am switching to real intermediate training. Sad that this is done, but if Austin Baraki can finish his LP at 285 in the squat then so can I... Delighted with how this has gone and excited to see what I can do if I can maintain the streak and not miss a workout before Christmas! Will take a pivot session of some kind on Friday and be ready to start whatever I land on on Sunday - probably some sort of Texas Method variant...
Final numbers on my first SSLP:
Squat: 3*5*60kg -> 3*5*130kg
Deadlift: 5*80kg -> 2*3*142.5kg
Bench Press: 3*5*50kg -> 4*77.5kg
Press: 3*5*40kg -> 5,5,4*57.5kg
