Thanks Bingley! All the prep went well. Extracting molar roots (my crown fractured just below the crown), cleaning out some infection, packing in some kind of reinforcement to a thin bone wall, packing cadaver bone in the holes, stitching my gums back in place, superglue to top everything off. I’m a mechanical engineer so it all sounded interesting. He’s even got a little MRI in his office, so I got to see what I’d look like as a terminator.
Next week, stitches out, then first of the year, a sinus lift and my implant.
    Then… T-bone steak!

Good luck Richard, it was a long time ago that I had him surgery, but I still remember having some kind of plastic coating being put on the gums and not being able to eat anything solid for a few days. Good to see your getting your WO's in.

Thanks Jerry, yes I can eat on one side. Tortilla chips was a bad idea, but I can learn.

Time to jump smaller on press

First workout off the gobs of ibuprofen the dentist prescribed. I feel not too bad.

Well 5 more was too much for the press…
And 20 more was going to be too much for the squat.
I’ll have to slow my approach to my prior PRs as I finish my recovery mini NLP.

I get my stitches out tomorrow, so I’ll get back to trying to hit my 250g protein each day.

Adam has me narrowing my squat grip and pulling toward my ears to help me NOT lift the weight with my hands. This seems to be helping that elbow pain I was getting.

All in all, feeling pretty good.
