After a 2 week off Barbell, I came back and I did the following today:

    Squat
    140kg x5
    Press
    70kg x3, 1, 1
    Deadlift
    150kg x5

Hopefully the break was for good reasons (vacation, etc.) and not bad (illness, etc.).

    Keep at it!

I am doing intermittent fasting, Bill. The weight loss is incredible! The downside is that my Press suffers greatly, sometimes the weight just won't press up. The other time, I almost fainted from it :-(. The recovery also sucks. And then, I kinda lost interest in training. Good news is 2 weeks later, I am back. But I cannot do the NLP, unfortunately. Squating 3x5, Press/ Bench Press for 15 reps, Deadlift 1x5 , Chins... are too much for me. I think right now I am pussy, Bill. Til then, there will come a moment, when I will man up and really do the program again.

    Cheers Bill.

That all makes sense, Raymond. I've done IF (18:6) before, myself, but that was during the initial lockdowns and the only activity that I was getting done was hundreds of chinups and burpees each day. Once I was able to collect a rack and weights, I knew that I couldn't do it if I wanted to drive up the weights. So it has been a couple of years now.

As you know, and are experiencing, the NLP and Intermediate workouts are brutal while doing IF. So it's a good experiment in cutting weight while doing what you can under the bar.

Good luck with it! Remember, you're still stronger that most of your peers.

Before I started the IF, I measured my waist and ordered a SS Single Ply Belt Size L. By the time the belt arrived, I was already on the last 2 hole and right now size L is already too big for me.
Anyway, just want to share the IF stuff. cheers Bill!

Yep, it's very effective at dumping inches. In the weeks before I had my rack, bar, and plates delivered, IF and my exercising got me down to my racing weight (for back when I did that running thing a lot), which is the weight where my wife says that I need to eat more, since my ribs become visible and I look pretty lanky. Funny enough, even at that weight, my doc referred to the BMI chart and stated that I was still "overweight".

Keep at it, whatever your goals are, Raymond.
