    Best single before this was 225 ... today he took it for 5. Bench PRs about to explode.

    Press: 160x3x3

    Triples across, only 10lbs under his best single.

    Press: 165x3x3 (3PR)

    Bench: 230x5 (5PR!), 205x5


    Every session of press right now is a PR triple. Last measured 1RM for press is 170; he's tripling across at -5 right now. Press is about to explode.

    Meanwhile: Bench is crushing too. Best single is still 225 ... today he took 230 for 5 reps and it looked clean and breezy. Upper body lifts are about to blow the lid off.

    Deadlift was actually a triple, but he hitched the third rep and we're not counting it (except as fatigue-producing work).

    Press: 167.5x2 (2PR!), 1

    Bench: 215x5x4


    Hit a wall on press today, though I think some of it has to do with the 5-mile run the CSM made Dov's company do yesterday. Dov hasn't run more than the required minimum 2 miles since we started this program, so he's a bit deconditioned for it.

    Dalan: Hope so. But we're kinda rushing things right now since he has to start doing some majorly altered training about 1 October, to be ready for Army Sapper school early 2022. So I'm crushing him right now, hoping to program him to a 200lb press by 1 October. We'll try ... Lord-willing, he'll hit it.

    Deadlift (Volume): 315x3x3

    W18D1:

    Press: 170x3x3 (3PR!)

    Bench: 235x4 (4PR!), 205x5


    Big day for upper body. 170 on the press ties Dov's lifetime 1RM ... and he put it up 9 times today. On bench: 235 is the most weight he's ever had on the bar, and he 4-repped it.
