A strong triple, only 5lbs off his best single.

Squat: 260x5x2, 250x5
A slight tonnage PR, and an improvement on thoracic tightness. Dov came at this off of a 24-hour overnight duty, and was gassed from the word go. Some form creep has come in, and workload has increased. I'm right on the knife's edge of moving him immediately to full-intermediate protocols for squats, for situational reasons with his workload as a Platoon Leader.
Deadlift: 285x3x3
Hitching is gone, and his leg-press off the floor is much cleaner.

Dov's smoked. This week is kicking his arse over at the platoon. Went with a lighter weight for volume; will try intensity on Tuesday squats. I think Dov is a "situational intermediate" at this point, as his platoon pivots into heavy field training and other more complex tasks.
Press: 155x1 (PR!), 115x9
Quick lifetime press PR, then some hypertrophy.
Deadlift: 315x0, 275x6 (6PR!)
Yeah dude is fatigued. 315 was welded to the floor. He smoked a set of 275 to close out the day. This is last session of the week, since the gym is closed Fri-Mon for 4 day Memorial Day weekend.

Dov came by my garage yesterday for bench/press, then we met on post for squat/pull this morning.
Press: 125x5x4
Bench: 165x5x4, 225x1 (PR!)
Dov crushed his volume work so hard I decided to let him take a single at 2 plates. He nailed it despite some weird slotting.
Squat: 275x3 (3PR!), 235x5x3
Pull (Light): Row, 135x8x3

That squat triple is only 5lbs less than Dov's best single right now.

Drove the deadlift top end up 15lbs today.

This will be an odd week for Dov. We won't see each other at all, except out in the woods when I visit his platoon in the field. He's trying to work around 10-mile ruckmarch out to the TA followed by a 72-hour field exercise. Hence the Sunday lift. The fact he got a PR to start the week out is nice.
