    I technically started my NLP during the first week of July, but stalled during my third week due to poor lifting technique, rushed weight loading, and less than adequate eating and sleeping habits. Since I was obviously doing something (or a few things) wrong, I decided to finish the last two weeks of July by using the same weights, focusing on correcting my mistakes, and getting some microplates. I also had to miss a week, so my first month was more like starting a marathon by tripping over my feet and falling onto my face.

    August has been much better, and I consider it more of a start than July. I have been able to consistently increase the weight for each lift by using microplates, which has kept me motivated to eat, sleep, and train better. With this thread, I plan to post my progress on a monthly basis.

    Age: 32
    Height: 176 cm
    Starting Bodyweight (End of June): 70–75 kg

    Starting Weights (End of July)
    Deadlift: 90 kg
    Squat: 60 kg
    Bench Press: 45 kg
    Press: 30 kg

    Progress Through August
    Bodyweight: 85 kg

    Deadlift: 122 kg
    Squat: 90 kg
    Bench Press: 65 kg
    Power Clean: 40 kg
    Press: 39 kg

    End of August Form Check

    Deadlift
    Beginning of Month: 93.5 kg
    End of Month: 122 kg
    Increment: 3–4 kg
    I increased the weight increment from 3.5 kg to 4 kg (with one 3 kg increment in between) after a couple of weeks in order to keep the deadlift ahead of the squat for a longer length of time.


    Squat
    Beginning of Month: 62.5 kg
    End of Month: 90 kg
    Increment: 2.5 kg


    Bench Press
    Beginning of Month: 47.5 kg
    End of Month: 65 kg
    Increment: 2.5–5 kg
    I increased the weight increment from 2.5 kg to 5 kg after a couple of weeks, because the weight was too light.


    Power Clean
    Starting Weight: 20 kg
    End of Month: 40 kg
    Increment: 10 kg
    I started with 20 kg and have increased the weight by 10 kg increments in order to grow accustomed to the movement.


    Press
    Beginning of Month: 31.5 kg
    End of Month: 39 kg
    Increment: 1.5 kg
