Two plates on the squat, yay! Onward and upward to three plates... I'm definitely in 5RM PR territory on my squat and deadlift, getting close on my press and bench.

August 10, 2021 Weigh-in: 170.4 lbs, a 2.6 lb increase from last week.
As I mentioned in my first post, I have never had a morning weight over 170, so this is a pretty big deal for me.

I foolishly thought I would be able to use double-overhand grip on the deadlifts today, since I have chalk and the warmup sets were feeling easy. I nearly dropped the third rep, so I switched to the alternating grip for the last two reps.

Squat: 240x5x3
Bench: 160x5x3
Clean: 85x3x5
And just like that, I squatted my previous 1RM for 15 reps today! It was hard though. I didn't do myself any favors by surfing twice this weekend, but I got through it and on to 245 on Wednesday!
