Good luck with everything Ryan
It sounds like you were able to identify the problem, a solution of which may improve not only your numbers but also overall live quality. It is really a shame you need to wait that long for the visit but most important is you are working towards a solution. No need to worry about programming. You are lifting for yourself and how quickly you progress is not really important as long as you do what you love. Best wishes, I'm sure all will be just fine.
Good luck with everything Ryan

Everything felt pretty good today. Slow, but good.
Thanks everyone for the words of support and encouragement, it really means a lot!

Squat: 255x5x3; 6 minute rest
Bench Press: 180x5x3; 3 minute rest
Cleans: 140x3x5, 2 minute rest
6 minute rest on the squat was wonderful, and I think I'll need to start adding another minute of rest to the bench. I have a hard stop at 6am, so I woke up today at 4:20am to make sure I could fit everything in. After putting the equipment away, it was 5:57am, so any additional rest needed on squat/bench/clean day will require an earlier wake-up
Getting up at 4:30am sounds really bad to me and waking up even earlier than that would not be an option for me. Honest respect. I really recommend extending rest time. At some point it was amazingly useful for my squat. In case of upper body I think it is a bit tricky as those seem not to cause shortness of breath but for sure are taxing as well. Well done Ryan!
Another possibility is to split the work up. Today, for example, the cleans could have been done after work is over. It means warming up again but there's no harm in it.
The obvious question is whether that's a realistic option with the rest of your schedule.

Light Squat: 215x5x3; 4 minute rest
Press: 122.5x5x3; 4 minute rest

Decided to mostly stick with Program 1D as written in BBRx and deadlift on Friday, instead of on my light squat day (today). It's my off-Friday from work (9/80, yay!), so I'll have time for ample rest. Press is in 5RM PR territory.
