I had no issues in my shoulders today with the press. Prior to dropping it and substituting it with the Lat Pull, I had a pinch in the shoulders and on going pain. Funny thing about the pinch is that I could never predict which shoulder it would be in from work out to work out. But the process of lifting the bar overhead was always the same: get it started - hit a wall and stop (that would be the pinch causing severe pain) - wait for the pinch to work itself out - push the bar the rest of the way up.
The idea of moving to the Lat Pull as it was explained to me was to overstress the system between my elbow(s) and my shoulder(s). The thinking being the overstressing would cause the system to heal as a whole. Not sure if it worked as 105 isn't really heavy for me. But I did come into problems with my right bicep on my last Lat Pull day (Sep 30). I had a sharp pain that went from my lower bicep right up through the middle that lasted several days.
The fun of being old and working out...

Big drop in both numbers due to on going issue with right hamstring. On Monday night the 4th my right leg basically locked up from the hamstring down to the back of the knee making going down stairs a concern as the knee was prone to give out as I put weight on it. Today both are better but still sore.
