Few days behind on posting. Been dealing with a head cold that has had some pretty gross sinus/headache stuff along with it. Don’t think it’s Covid but got a test today just to double check.

Weights have been progressing. The jump from last warm-up to 1st working set on squats has been…invigorating lol. Still going alright. Video last night had me spotting my squat a touch higher than I’d like so I did a 4th set with an emphasis on depth and will continue filming moving forward.

Double overhand, no hook on deadlifts has still been feeling pretty good. Getting close to a double OH PR if it keeps up this way.

    Session 21

    BW - 195.4
    Cals - ~6000

    Squat 290 x5x3
    Press 125 x5x3
    Deadlift 355 x5

    1/1/2022

    BW - 195.0
Cals - ~5500 (starting to realize I may have to bump these up a bit more to see weight continue to rise)

    Session 22

    Squat 295 x5x4 (explained above)
    Bench 185 x5x3
    PC 165 x3x5

Need to double check when the PC jumps should slow down to 5s, as I’m thinking that should be my next move after this session. They felt fine, but 10# jumps won’t last super long I know.

Not sure if I’ll keep doing the session videos. Might just to actually see progress.

    Notes:
Was a dummy today. The gym I own is hosting a CFL1 seminar and the staff asked me if I'd like to workout with them. I've always wanted to do that since we started hosting these back in 2017...but hadn't been asked until today. Of course it comes at a time when I haven't done a CF workout in close to 3 months lol. Needless to say I'm as sore as an idiot as you'd expect, and last night's training was unnecessarily difficult. Luckily, I'm still at training loads that allow me to be a dummy and still hit them, but I'm guessing I won't do that again soon lol.
