22 Years old, 6' ft, 190 pounds (I weighed 200 before the surgery)
I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted on 06/24/22. Figured I should put a log up here to receive advice, critique, and ideas. Not to mention the lovely sense of community this place provides <3 Weight is in pounds.

    First workout back:

    07/04/22 -

    Squat: 265x5x3
    Press: 95x5x1 - Then 85x5x2
    Deadlift: 275x5

    07/06/22

    Squat:275x5x3
    Bench 170x5x3
    Deadlift: 285x5

Can't seem to get all the slack out. Deadlift has been a real sticking point since December. Fifth rep on 07/06 hurt my back a little. Should be good for today's workout (which I will record).

    Squat 280x5x3
    Press 90x5x3
    Deadlift 255x5
    Chins 6x1
    5x1
    4x1

Managed to get perfect extension in deadlift. Will work back up in 10lb increments from here

Welcome. Good numbers. I'm surprised you can lift as much and sometimes more on Squat than you can on Deadlift. Perhaps a video check of your deadlift could be helpful.

I agree. The deadlift has been my struggle for a while. I'll get a video in the technique form later this week and see what people think

Squat N/A strange funny pain started in right knee after Monday's squats. Elected not to push it past warmups because it was getting worse

Squat 290x5x2 (third set, failed first rep) My leg just locked up with the same kind of funny pain. Bar wouldn't move up so I dropped it.
    Bench 175x5x3
Deadlift 285x5 Good extension on the whole set. Had to put on straps for the last rep. My grip just wouldn't hold
    Chins 6,4,3

Nothing at all. It's almost completely gone today so I'm thinking I'll be back to 100% after the weekend. Here's the video of the fail (just because it's actually hilarious)

lol i'm glad you're able to laugh and are ok! And I'm glad no one was behind you when that thing went flying!

that's why I'm inside the cage with the pins...I'm too old to walk away from something like that, and there's way too much crap in my garage
