    Stats:
    I'm 5'6.5", 180 lb., 26 y.o. man

update as of 9/10/22 I'm 185.5 lb. when I wokeup last morning I was 178 lb. having been dehydrated from sleeping for 36 hours straight (I was knocked out by a vaccine, allergy season, and 15 mg of melatonin I took).

Background: I experimented with several intermediate programs, lost weight, and detrained.

    Goals:
    Programming:
    1) I'm doing rows instead of power cleans.
    2) On the chinups I'm going to add weight assuming that I can complete 3 sets of 5 reps (guys get stronger faster this way), also for chinups you can do sets across provided that you wait 20 minutes between sets (this is why greasing the groove is successful).
    3) I'm going to be aggressive with jumps on the bench press because that's the lifts I have the most experience with and the best genetics for.

Note: I'm going to organize this log into sections of workout logs and sections of narrative, so that people can see the progression.

During the cycle in brackets I lost 10 lb. of bodyweight. Also an explanation to why I'm already rotating the Deadlift and Barbell Rows.

There is no rotation of Deadlifts and Barbell Rows in Starting Strength, you might have read an old version of it or some internet rip-off template. I suggest you buy and read the blue and gray books. Or at least the actual program, which is on the website

I have long forearms which makes racking the power clean hard. I'm familiar with the program (rotating one set of 5 deadlifts with 5 sets of 3 power cleans).

I'm training to be able to physically dominate other men. I want to be able to leave the club with some dudes chick and there's nothing he can do because I'm bigger than him. It's like that song "it's plain to see, she'll leave with me, because I'm alpha male top g".

Young men training is like when a monkey discovers the magical coconut tree.

I want to be big and strong but I want to be big because I'm strong, like how form follows function, like how phones, watch and knives are beautiful because they're good computing devices, time pieces, or cutting tools. Being big and not strong is like having a pickup truck with a V4 and no suspension.

Side Note: I'm up 7.5 lb. since starting this LP. My upper back looks visibly bigger.

If you have long forearms the program calls for Power Snatches instead of Cleans, not Rows
    It's your call though.

Alright my friend. I'm gonna be real with you. Women like funny men. Being big and strong is cool and what not but this mentality isn't the solution to not getting bitches.

People love to laugh and be heard. You should do this for YOU. Because you want to improve. Not because you feel threatened by other people and what they have.

How many situations have you been in where you had to dominate someone else? Look at this thing like a gun. "Damn, it's nice to have that. But, fuck, I hope I never have to use it"

It's invigorating to see other people pursuing better health, strength, physique, etc... The motivations behind these pursuits can change one's ability to enjoy the journey and all the challenges/triumphs it brings.

There will ALWAYS be someone bigger, stronger, faster, and/or harder than you. This is not a bad thing. It does not mean that you shouldn't apply yourself and strive to better yourself physically and otherwise.

You will find a meaningful connection with someone more easily if you are not worried about establishing dominion over another person. The type of woman that want's you for the reasons you've described is not worth having.

Update: In two weeks I've put 50 lb. on my squat, I gained 10 lb. of bodyweight and about an inch on my arms.

My goals for the nlp are 360x5 squat, 405x5 deadlift, 280x5 bench, 180x5 press, 220x5 row, +45x5 weighted chins

I want to enter the next local powerlifting meet.
