I missed a session due to travel. It was a nice, short trip. Worth missing a session for. I did a lot of walking and not as much eating as would have liked. More importantly, my last scan was clean. No evidence of disease! Fuck cancer!

    Squat 135x5x3
Low bar squat still moving well. I hope I can keep up with 10 pound jumps for another week or two.

    Bench Press 125x5x3
Bench press will need to move to 5 pound jumps soon, however. I'll take at least one more, though, so I can be moving a full plate.

    Deadlift 185x5
    No issues here.

Missed a day due to right adductor strain.

    Squat 145x5x3
Feeling good still. No elbow pain yet.

    Press 80x5x3

    Deadlift
    195x5x1

Last workout in my old rack. I picked up a nicer one from a neighbor who moved back to the States. I also was able to get several hundred pounds of weights, including bumper plates. It was a real bargain.

I've also picked up a stomach bug. Putting weight on will be difficult until I can shake it.

Took an extra rest day due really bad DOMS in my right adductor. It's always been a problem when I come off a gap in my training, but this was a very short layoff. Age and cancer are not doing me any favors. My body weight (153) isn't moving, so I need to do better with my meal planning.

    Squat 155x5x3
This is a small milestone, as this is my bodyweight. It's not much but I'll take very small win that I can.

    Bench press 135x5x3
1 plate bench! Another small milestone.

    Deadlift 205x5
    Not much to note here.

really great to see you back at it! I'm a recent cancer survivor too, but nothing to the extent of what you went through (I just had a robot rip out my prostate). Keep at it, gain that weight and slowly teach the iron, and the cancer, who is the boss!

Thanks Mr. Bingley. I'm doing the best I can. I need to manage expectations a bit, as I want to get back where I was as soon as possible. But it's going to take a long time.

    Squat 165x5x3
Squat is was a little more difficult than I expected, but otherwise uneventful.

    Press 85x5x3
These went up smoothly. It went better than the previous two workouts.

    Deadlift 215x5
Same as Squat. The weight went up slower than I expected, but otherwise this was fine.

I'm struggling to eat and put on weight as I'm still under 155 lbs. I'll need to figure out a solution soon. I still can't eat big meals as I run out of saliva pretty quickly. I will need to drink more of my calories. A lot more.

    Squat 175x5x3
I had to grind these. I'll take 5 pound jumps from now on.

    Bench Press 140x5x3
First two sets were rough, but the third went up easier. I attribute that to better bracing.

    Deadlift 225x5
Two plates! Felt much heavier than it should have, bit I got it done.

    Catching up the log

    Squat 65x5x3
    Bench press 105x5x3
    Deadlift 135x5

    Squat 85x5x3
    Press 55x5x3
    Deadlift 185x5

Staying on track this week. I've managed to pick up a little weight. I'm now a massive 157 pounds.

Not much to note on the workout. 10-20 pund jumps from last workout.

    Squat 105x5x3

    Bench press
    115x5x3

    Deadlift 205x5

I'm back from a big camping trip. I drove deep into the Empty Quarter, doing about 2500 kms over 4 days.

    Squat 65x5x3
Easy, but I need to manage DOMS after missing a week.

    Bench Press 115x5x3
    No issue.

    Deadlift
    185x5
My back is pretty sore from a shit load of driving. No issue with the deadlifts, though.
