    Training 1/21/23
SS NLP week 17 day 2
Done in person with my SSC, so no vids. Definitely worthwhile doing it in-person vs online. He caught some things for each lift that weren't very apparent from the videos.

    Squats 255x3x3
    Felt great, no issues.

    Bench press 175x3, 2 (fail), 135x10 (AMRAP)
Was supposed to do 175x3x5. No idea why I bombed so badly, but he had me drop back down and do an AMRAP set with 135.

    Deadlift 255x5x2

    Training 1/23/23
SS NLP week 17 day 3

    Squats 220x5x4
    1/23/23 squats 220x5 - YouTube
Felt good. I'll try to keep going beltless for the lighter squats as long as I can.

    Press 112.5x3x3
    1/23/23 press 112.5x3 - YouTube

    Deadlift 315x3x2
    1/23/23 deadlift 315x5 - YouTube

Overall, feeling great. Doing lighter squats and deadlifts has DEFINITELY helped with my overall fatigue.

    Training 1/26/23
    SS NLP-ish week 18 day 1

I guess at this point I'm not really doing the NLP anymore, but I sure don't consider myself an intermediate yet.

    Squats 260x3x3
    1/26/23 squats 260x3 - YouTube
Felt like a million pounds when I unracked it, but it moved fairly smoothly.

    Bench press 177.5x2x2
    137.5x11,10 (both AMRAP)
    1/26/23 bench press 177.5x2 - YouTube

    Deadlift 320x3x2

Yikes, I missed logging a few workouts. Suffice to say everything's been going smoothly and weights are still going up, EXCEPT for yesterday's workout. A combination of not eating and sleeping enough the day prior led to a horrible session, but here it is anyway...

    Training 2/6/23
    Week 19 day 3

    Squats 275x3, 1 (supposed to be 3x3)
    2/6/23 squats 275x1 - YouTube
I felt the weight get just a smidge too far forward and it crushed me.

    Press 120x3, 1 (supposed to be 3x3)
    2/6/23 press 120x1 - YouTube
I think this was more mental than anything. After missing the squats, I was in my own head.

Deadlifts 335x2 (supposed to be 3x2)
    2/6/23 deadlift 335x2 - YouTube
I did one set of these and decided to call it a day. My back felt a little off from bailing that squat and I didn't want to push my luck.

You have some good days and you have some bad days. This was one of the bad days.

185 lbs. It plateaued around 175ish and I had to bump my calories up to around 4700-4800 per day to keep it going. Still averaging 1-2 lbs per week. I've noticed some fat gain but I'm not too worried about it. I'm a believer in the "build the foundation first then sculpt it later" mentality.

    Training 2/9/23
    Week 20 day 1

Kinda low energy again today, but not as bad as the last workout. Sleep and food have been good the past couple days.

    Squats 235x5x4
    2/9/23 squats 235x5 - YouTube

    Bench press 185x2x2, 155x4,4 (AMRAPs)
    2/9/23 bench press 185x2 - YouTube
Definitely should've hit more reps on the AMRAPs, I just felt drained.
