Josh's SS Log
For reference here's my stats
I'm a man, 5'6.5", 191 lb. 27 years old 24 in vertical, former martial arts competitor/black belt.
I read practical programming and I read the Squat, Press, and Deadlift sections of starting strength [the exercises I did today, the cues (learning how to contract my lower back muscles on the floor) served as additional ab work]. I had someone coaching me on the Squat and I have minimal soreness.
After Warmup sets here's the working weight.
Week 1 Day 1 (Feb 10th, 2023)
Squat 155x5x3
Press 85x5x3
Deadlift 185x5
Strict Curl 45x12x2

I'm a picky eater and I'm eating 4500-5000 calories a day (meat, pasta, veg, fruit, dried fruit, milk, soy milk, seeds). I don't particularly like meat.

It is Lent. It's a good time to avoid meat. But then, meat is still the greatest source of protein. I always have difficulty at this time of year.

I'll avoid meat on the normal days and for lent I'm giving up porn starting today (trust me it's a greater sacrifice then giving up meat).
