    glad it doesn't appear to be anything too bad but take off more time than you think. let it heal completely and then some.

    Agree 100%, and I was very specific with the Dr and he was clear additional damage can not be done. If the season was over we’d just take a month off and keep lifting upper body. Unfortunately the biggest tournament of the year which he’s been working the past 11 months for is in 3 weeks. If there was even a 1% chance of further damaging anything I would have yanked him out but the Dr. said do as much as he’s willing to endure the pain. So we decided on 2 weeks off of wrestling and lower body and keep doing upper body then do a 2 week push into states and evaluate after.

    Took 2 weeks off of everything and knee feels 90%. State tournament is tomorrow. After that probably take another 2 weeks off of wrestling and squatting and ease back in hopefully pain free. Fingers crossed

    So overall he had an amazing year with a record of 24-2. Yesterday at the states he went 3-2 and lost the match he needed to place, so finished around 9th or 10th. He ended up beating a kid 10-1 that he lost 10-0 back in December so that was amazing to see how far he’s come. He said his knee felt good, 95% better so we’re gonna continue upper body and take off squats for 2 more weeks. After that hit it hard and hopefully have a nice long healthy NLP run.
