I can see that my squat is high, I have always struggling with getting below the depth that I am hitting now. On the deadlift I am leaning back too much at the top... What else am I missing? Thanks

    SQ 3x5x165
First two sets are from the side, last from an angle

You start your deadlift with the legs too straight, so you're lifting almost exclusively with the back. Lower the hips a bit at the start.

I only looked at the first set of the squats. I think moving your feet a little more apart would help you hit full depth, which is only an inch or two away.

How long have you been training? Try harder to get lower on your squat. Are you able to get lower on your warmups? You don't have to go down so fast, slow it down and don't come back up until you're below parallel.

Thanks, I thought the deadlift looked off... Will go back to the book/dvd and figure out the correct angle.

I have not taped my warmups yet, good questions will take a look. Funny you say slow down, this is actually slower, I have been working hard to try to and keep tension in my hams and can't do so when I go fast... Will keep thinking slower

I have been training for about 8 weeks, history of knee trouble so I started the progression slow and began at a very low weight, but have been progressing 5lbs per workout for the 4 weeks on my squat.

    Thanks for the help.

I agree. From the angle, it looks like your feet are a little close. Try to get them shoulder width apart and see what happens.
