I see guys doing this with bench shirts too (with a good arch). They press lower (top part of the belly) and try to push the bar towards their feet a little bit. Other guys like to push more towards their heads too, it depends on the lifter. I try to push it towards my head a little bit, so I bench in a small curve. I'm not sure what I do with a shirt yet... I am working on it! :-)
