I've been working on keeping my back in extension (four weeks ago it was rounding badly at the bottom, now I think it's ok) and not letting my knees fall forward. Hamstring mobility work and just squatting often seems to have helped. I'm 38, 5'7'', 178, not much lifting experience at all, if it matters.

    Thanks.

Do you see how you initiate each rep by moving your hips back? Instead of doing that, start by going down, and wait until you get closer to the bottom to let your hips move back. Doing this will also make it easier to push your knees out to the sides, which you aren't doing enough of right now.

Getting a pair of lifting shoes will help your squat a lot too.

Cool thanks, i'll work on that cue. Shoes are definitely on my list. I was surprised the first time I taped how much my heels were raising. Can't feel it at all.
