    Default Is this lumbar too rounded?

    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    It felt alright when I was lifting the weights, so I thought nothing of it. Then, after watching the video, I was wondering if there's an acceptable range of roundness when one is lifting really heavy (e.g., new PR). Thoughts? (oh, and if you think it's too rounded, what remedy would you recommend?)

    These looked fairly fucked to me. I'm just going to throw random things I see.

    Hips shoot up first
    Hips higher than shoulders
    Retracted Scapular at the bottom and shrug at top
    Bent arms
    Yanking the bar up
    Round Lumbar
    Bad neck position
    Bar not even near close to body
    Too far over bar

    Read the book and start again.

    Please refrain from deadlifts until you (re)read the book, you'll just hurt yourself. nkelman is right.
