You were never in danger of permanent damage.

PS. Since few months ago, i totally switched to high bar squats and am not planing to low bar anytime soon.
Surpassed the previous lb PR with high bar, although the position definitely feels weaker, less weight is used and am more prone to lose balance forward and GM the weight up.

HOWEVER, my arm is not in danger of permanent damage, the barbell is secure and level throughout the movement, I'm still progressing and getting stronger, and couldn't care less about non-optimality etc...

    Thanks for understanding!!
I had pain in my elbow and arm from low bar squats.

Saw the grip videos by rip but nothing helped. I thought my grip was fine.

Then one day after the set, while racking the bar, I saw my grip in the mirror. My left hand had slipped atleast an inch away due to sweaty palms. It made the grip uneven when i was busy lifting the weight.

Have you tried lots of chalk?
