    Default Deadlift Form Check – 255 lbs

    Weight, Height, Sex, and Age

    147 lbs, 5'6" , 28 y/o Male

    Any tips/feedback is greatly appreciated. Thank you

    These look good. You can definitely improve step 4 by squeezing your chest up harder to set your back better; this will be important when the weight gets heavier. Also, why are you letting go of the bar and resetting after each rep? Try to speed the set up a little bit by resetting more quickly.

    In addition to what Dave said, you are not pulling the slack out of the bar. The weight should be heavy in your hands and you will be stressed just before liftoff which naturally puts your back/chest into the correct potion. You are going from ground to liftoff without this important step.
