Your back extension is lacking. If you can get it tighter and more extended, it will help. I'd also strongly recommend lifting shoes - especially for these.
I noticed that in the video. Does not feel that way, but the camera doesn't lie.
Those are lifting shoes. Inov-8 Fastlift 325. Not among the typical suggestions here, but I got them cheap, they meet the criteria, and they've held up pretty well.
(also what's up with the smiley in my last post title? I swear I didn't put that in there. Forum has been doing some odd things lately and no edit ability.)
Sorry - from the video, it didn't look there was any heel on the shoes.
Is this how you normally set and pull deadlifts, too?
I don't know about the smiley. I actually didn't notice it until you mentioned it. But, yes, the forums have been kind of wonky of late.
I deadlift in flats and with a narrower grip so the angles are slightly different, but I'll film my next session and take a look to see if there's also a lack of extension there too.
Might just be lack of focus on it for power cleans because I'm thinking about getting 5 other things right.
