Unfortunately the hooks are fixed. The lower ones are too low and I have to bend the elbows when I rack the bar. Only option is to bench in a squat rack.
Then go ahead and bench in the rack. Do what you need to do in order to do it right and safely. One of my trainees benches in the rack - we actually have to put 25 pound plates under the bench legs to make everything work at the right heights.
