I am restarting the novice LP and am about a month in. I was hoping someone could check my squat form. I feel like I probably need a little more depth? This is my last warmup set before 3 sets of 5 for 270 lbs.

    Thanks

Your stance is too wide. Bring it in about an inch or so each side.

    Show us a work set.

You are also comparatively upright with little hip drive. Your knees are traveling too far forward.

Hung out with a friend last night and probably had a couple more beers than I should have... here is a work set from today... I tried to narrow my stance but I felt fatigued during whole session...

    Thanks in advance.

    Well, they weren't train wrecks.

First, lower the hooks one notch, they're too high.

Second, read and apply the information in the thoracic extension article on here.

Third, stay tighter, especially at the bottom, so you can catch the bounce out of the hole (fewer friends and less beer might help more).

Thank you so much Jeff. The article makes a ton of sense. I will apply it on Monday and tell all my friends to leave me alone! 😁
