My first squat form check post on the forum, started my novice linear progression early July 2017.

The video below is my final squat set, fifth set of three reps.

    Thanks,

    Annie

    Hey Annie,

    Couple things.

    1) your squats are high and they got higher towards the end. Commit yourself to going deeper.
    2) your stance looks awfully narrow from here. Try widening out by an inch or so at the heel while pointing toes out a little bit more.

    Hope it helps!

Hi Annie. These look pretty good, but you are a bit high as Royce said. Also, your hips are rising before your chest, so your back angle is changing. Try dropping the weight about 10 %, and pushing your knees out on the way down and the way up. Keep thae back angle constant out of the bottom.

What Royce said... also, it looks like your front-to-back balance might be a BIT off... I see your toes coming off the ground or at least pressing at the shoe. It seems like you're sitting back and resting on your heels a lot.

While in the squat position, are you able to just dip your butt down more? If not, then open up your legs the way Royce suggests..
