Optimal Bench Grip
Calgary Barbell's Bryce K. and Connor Lutz demonstrate their view on how to optimally grip the bar for a comp bench.
I grip this way already, but don't drive my thumb into the bar the way they are suggesting, which stiffens the wrist joint. I'll give it a shot tomorrow...

In addition to the moment between his elbow and his hand, this grip also places moment force between the barbell and the wrist joint that was not there in the previous grip when the bar was sitting on the heel of the hand.
