    Hi guys,

Could I get some observations on my form? Have been training for a while but only seriously squatting/deadlifting for the past month. Feel like I’m RDL’ing my deads and I’m not sure if it’s due to leverages or form. Focusing on going deeper with squats, have flat feet and squatting barefoot is not helping.

Squat - last of 5 sets,

Deadlift - last of 5 sets (excuse the shoes, gym rules)

    Cheers.

Squat: Clearly, the hooks are at least two notches too high. Put them where they need to be. I can't be sure from this angle, but I think your stance is a little too narrow. Get tighter. Initiate the descent by breaking at the hips and knees at the same time and immediately bend at the hips. Stop your knees' forward movement right at your toes and make sure they are there by the time you're halfway down and don't let them move back until you're halfway back up. Fix your gaze.

Deadlift: I'd like to see your full set up. I think you need to narrow your heels a little and you're not tight enough. You're dropping your hips a little bit before the pull.
