    Hey Gang,

Below is a link to my deadlift set from the last workout. I'm fairly new to Starting Strength, and I have concerns that I'm building a bad habit with my deadlift form, particularly around some rounding of my lower back.

Can you take a look and let me know your thoughts?

    Thanks in advance!

    Most Sincerely,
    Pete

Your not setting your low back into extension. Think squeeze your chest up while showing your asshole to the wall. You'll see wrinkles in your shirt if its correct. You might want re read the deadlift chapter before you injure yourself!

    Hey there Ryan,

It's been a few months since you responded to my post, but I just wanted to say thank you for this great video! This was exactly what I needed. The guidance in it was really easy to follow and it immediately made me realize what I was missing.

In addition, I set up my laptop with an external USB video camera and a 15' USB cable extender. That allowed me to look forward at my computer while watching my back angle from the side. Once I saw my back lock into place, I would start the lift without pain or bending!

    Kudos!
    -Pete
