Shoulder pain from squats
Hello everyone!
I've had some right shoulder pain for a couple of months that didn't interrupt my training but still worried me.
I think it's some kind of impingement.
Just doing the big 5 (squat, bench, dead and pull ups), and periodically I stopped the upper body exercises to find the culprit, including the deadlift.
Long story short, it didn't get any better, so I suspected the squat.
I just found out that when holding the bar on my upper back, I apply force with my hands as to shift some pressure from it,
I suspect that this odd position for my shoulders + applying force is what causes my shoulder pain.
tried to change my technique to lessen the force I apply with my hands but it hurts my neck and upper back.
Any tips?
