    Split snatch #160: YouTube

    Self analysis:
-I need to start hips lower
-I'm arm pulling to some degree. I can see it in the slomo vid and I can feel a slight strain on the inside of both elbows. Rotate elbows out and keep them tight.
-Need to shrug more and get under it faster, and split down to the same depth every time.

I also need to re-watch the Starting Strength videos on this lift.

Let me know if I missed anything, or am getting something wrong.
I appreciate the help. This one's a lot of fun and I want to get more weight on the bar.

Hip is deep enough. The arm pull is killing you. Post a clean.

    Some cleans at 185.
I worked up to these from just the bar, trying to keep straight elbows the whole time. The first two felt straight to me. The third one was was an arm pull for sure.

Your elbows are fine on the clean. But you're looping the bar because your eyes are going to the ceiling as you swing through the top of the pull. Same on the snatch.

Yep, I can see my head rocking back on those. Thanks for the input.
