    Default Squat form check (restart)

    • starting strength seminar jume 2024

    • starting strength seminar october 2024
Car accident derailed first go at SS and starting over.

    Initial Check

    Recent:

Things I think I'm seeing (correct me if I'm wrong):
    • Back tightness seems to get lost at the bottom
    • Bar keeps moving down as hips start to go up
    • Head needs to stay further down
    • Wrists sliding under bar as set goes on
    • Bar not staying parallel to floor (hit the safety on one of the reps

Thanks in advance for the critique

    Today's working sets:

    -Think back looks better
-Think I might be going to my toes too much (flicking onto toes after reps)
-Need another inch or two of depth, I'd imagine sitting back more will help

    you're missing depth by more than that inch or 2, or 3, or 4 , , ,
widen your stance, heels shoulder width, a couple inches,
and point your toes out, twice as much as I think I see,
you're aiming for 30*, both sides, you look maybe 15 in the video,
track your knees over your wider splayed toes, knees out,
the wider stance and wider knee/toe track should make depth easier to get also,
lighten up the bar some till you find depth.
