Overhead dumbell press vs Barbell press?
I'm too weak to do an overhead press with an empty 45lb bar, and my gym doesn't have lighter weight ones. What's confusing is that I can dumbell overhead press 50lb (without any leg or hip movement). Are dumbell presses just easier than barbell, or is it possible that my technique is what's accounting for the difference?

You're probably out of position at the start of the press and/or throwing the barbell forward, creating leverage problems that you're not strong enough to overcome.
