    Hi all.

About to start using the compression grip for the press. Just a few questions about the details.

Is the bar supposed to rest above the center of the wrist? On the picture in the book it seems to lay across the hypothenar eminence.

Why is the instruction pressing the fingertips down onto the bar, rather than folding the fingers around it? This seems a bit unstable, as if the fingers could slide off.

Should you press your fingertips (close to the nails) vertically down on the bar, or lay the underside of the distal phalange horizontally on top of the bar?

And lastly, how does all of this work out for you in practice? Do you adhere to this form exactly, or do you find your own way of taking a stable compression grip?
