    Default Deadlift Lumbar Clarification?

Having gone over the deadlift in step 4 the cue is to raise the chest as high as possible. In the section and videos on low back control, the low back extension position is taught as having an anterior pelvic tilt and sticking the butt back. I am curious how this applies to the deadlift.

When I am at step 4 of the Deadlift and raise my chest as high as I can, my low back feels straight but when I hold that position and complete the pull my lockout is not in an anterior pelvic tilt. Alternatively I can force the anterior pelvic tilt by lifting my chest and sticking forcing my hips into that position at the same time and maintain that through the lift, but since that is not listed as a cue in the deadlift section of the book would this be an undesired hyperextension of the lumbar spine?

Thanks, Rip! I hadn’t seen that video in my search for this detail and it answers my question perfectly.
