    6'5" 220
Previous session: first time in lifting shoes 300x5,6,5 02/14/20
Today: 305. Had more success setting up grip by using split stance to set my hand & arms before bringing my feet together to unrack. Unfortunately, can see the wrists slip into extension over the course of these sets. Still struggling with keeping knees out during the entire rom, emphasizing hip drive, cleanly unracking (grip + spinal extension + < 3 steps), and cervical extension during concentric phase. I'm trying to take the approach of separating forward knee motion and hips moving down/back into 2 different movements until I can learn to get the knees consistently in the right place.

    Thanks,

    Fix your wrists.

    More tightness in the back.

Toes out a little more might help with the knees. Maybe you could also widen your stance a little.

The separation looks weird. You‘re going down vertically with your ass instead of shoving it back simultaneusly with the knee bend. That keeps your back in a vertical high bar position on the way down and/or pushes the bar path to the front over the toes.

And think „Knees out!“ in the bottom.
