    Default Squat form check

Could I have a form check please?

Had left knee pain about 2 months ago. Took the weight down and tried to work on leaning over more and reaching back more. Got the weight up to 340 3x5 and had a little left knee pain again. Pushed in and did 345 and could only eek out 1 rep and the left knee hurt a lot.
Did box squats to rehab, back up to 325 3x5 and knee pain in last rep. Didn’t film that but captured this video at 315. Knee started to hurt again.
I have been told the bar is too low and I tend to rock toward the right when I come out of the hole.

Standard deal: these are all high, knees sliding at the bottom, back angle too vertical.

Thank you for being kind and telling me I am doing it all wrong. Back to the drawing board. Re-watching my reps I now see it. I am cheating the depth really bad.

The knee pain is obviously explained now.

I looked in the book index for the phrase knee slide, and didn't see it.

Is knee slide referring to a forward movement of the knee, or a caving in movement of the knee?

It's a term the kids use for letting the knees relax out of the hamstrings at the bottom of the squat. I'm trying to stay relevant.

I've wondered what knee slide meant. Thanks. I've never seen it or heard it used anywhere but here but I don't get out much.
