Thanks for this, Coach Courtland. If that video wasn't made a year ago, I would have sworn Coach Rippetoe was talking directly at me after watching my press check videos. Following his advice, I tried again at 130 on Friday. As much as I tried, my wrists kept falling into extension after I unracked: video. I promptly ordered a set of wrist wraps. It also appears my chest is still not up enough.

Chest up is better. I am betting that when you did the empty bar, wrists did not bend back. So, there is some weight at which it becomes challenging. The wraps will help, but you need to put some extra attention on the grip at that weight where it becomes a challenge. One thing I like to do as a drill at this weight is to have the athlete just stand up with the bar and slowly lift their fingers off of the bar, leaving it to solely balance in the palm for a few seconds. This emphasizes the "stacked" nature of the bar over the forearm.
