Hey Rip, I recently posted a squat technique video to the forum. You commented on it, and pointed out that my heels were coming up, and asked why they might be doing that. Multiple people commented that I wasn’t bending over enough, sitting back enough, and that my knees were traveling too far forward. I spent the weekend watching your squat videos and reading the book. I squatted today and recorded it. Will you please let me know if I’m finally doing it right? Thank you.

No, you're still too vertical. The first thing to do is point your nipples at the floor. Like a goodmorning.

Great. I was afraid you’d tell me I was still too vertical. I probably still am a little bit, but at least I know what I need to focus on. I DID notice that the more I sat back, fixed my knees, and leaned over, the stronger this position felt. In the past, when I hurt my lower back squatting, it was because my back would round coming out of the hole. The squat you advocate seems to self-correct this problem. Thank you for the help.
