Just need to work on the timing. Get your breath. Reach with the hips. Press the Bar. Lockout. Lower the bar. Repeat.
Make it all happen faster. No need to hang out in lockout breathing.
Hi,
please critique my Overhead Press.
I have an on-and-off niggling pain in my left shoulder. I can't directly relate it to the Press, but it bothers me most during this movement. More specifically, during the lower 3rd, eccentric phase. It dissipates relatively quickly, but sometimes radiates down to my elbow (near triceps insertion, medial head). Are there any faults in my form that could cause something like this?
Thanks in advance,
Ben
