6’4 Tree Pulling
i’m applying the 5 steps to the best of my abilities and after i lift my chest and pull the slack i have a really good flat back.
the problem however comes when i actually pull the bar. my body shifts slightly forward and it throws the bar forward which results in an ineffeficent pull.
it doesn’t seem like a load issue because this rocking forward happens even with 185

You're starting off with your hips too low, knees to forward, bar forward of mid-foot. For a deadlift, 90% of the time it's the start position.
